What a sworn translation involves
A sworn translation, known in Italian as a traduzione giurata or asseverata, is accompanied by a sworn statement. In the Italian court process described by the agency, the original document or certified copy, translation and statement are assembled in a single file.
Before work begins, clarify which documents belong in the application and the form in which they must be presented. The receiving organisation’s instructions provide the starting point for planning the assignment.
How to prepare your enquiry
Tell us the languages, document type, page count, country of use and organisation receiving the file. Include your deadline and any instructions about originals, copies, attachments or document formats.
Please agree on the materials and delivery channel with the agency before sending original documents. Your quote sets out the work included, cost, formalities and delivery arrangements.
Using the translated file abroad
Swearing a translation and obtaining an apostille are separate steps. If the file will be used abroad, ask the receiving organisation to confirm any additional formalities and tell us before work begins. The process is agreed on according to the document and its destination.
