When to request a certified translation
Start with the receiving organisation: ask which attestation must accompany the translation, which language it requires and how the document will be used. Sharing these instructions helps us prepare a quote for the actual document and formalities involved.
For a certificate, academic record, contract or business document, tell us the document type and destination country. The term “certified translation” alone does not specify every requirement for your application.
What to include in your quote request
Specify the source language, target language, number of pages and deadline. Mention any template or instructions covering the attestation, signature, document format or delivery method.
Before sending documents containing personal data, ask us which channel to use. We agree on the materials needed to assess your request and confirm the cost, timing and delivery arrangements before work begins.
Certification, sworn translation and apostille
Certified and sworn translations follow different processes. Swearing a translation involves a specific formality; an apostille concerns additional requirements for the international use of certain documents. The receiving organisation’s instructions help determine the appropriate route.
